A 21st Century window for Saint Margaret's Church

The Diocesan Advisory Council (DAC) and our own Parochial Church Council have agreed in principle that the decaying stained glass window in the North wall could be replaced. Despite prolonged effort it has not been possible to trace the descendants of Mrs. Kirkpatrick for whom the window is a memorial.
Here is a draft design to replace the North Window by the pulpit:
The design is by Michael Coles, an experienced artist who has designed many important windows in London and elsewhere. He has a sound knowledge of the Christian tradition and symbols.
The provisional, uncompleted sketch is shown here as a basis for discussion and the artist will adjust the design to accommodate suggestions. So far the only general agreement is for a rainbow to be included. The design represents the four seasons and night and day with Saint Margaret and her symbolic dragon in the quatrefoil. The final version will need to be approved by the DAC.
The new window needs to complement the other fine examples we are fortunate to have in St Margaret's, especially the splendid East window and the unique stained glass window composition by Douglas Strachan at the end of the nave.
Everyone is welcome to make their constructive comments below.
It should be noted that funding for this window will be through private subscription and not church funds.
