The Jubilee weekend was really something special. A fantastic series of amazing events celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee all organised from within a relatively small Parish population. From the Bangers & Mash supper on Friday to the beacons and fireworks on Monday evening it was quite literally a "tour de force" of local performing arts, organisation and culinary expertise.
The Hub has received a number of thank you and congratulatory messages to all those involved in the conception, organisation and execution of the events but I wondered what your "Diamond Memory Moments" were just of the local celebrations? As a souvenir of the occasion let's record what aspects of the events will sparkle and endure like diamonds for us!24 Jun 2012
