What makes OUR countryside so special?

CLOSED Parish Council Chairman's Blog

What are the specific favourite views, features and sites which make the local countryside so special for you? They could include sights, sounds, smells or something less tangible like the serenity of a particular location. They might be purely natural features or the result of historic or recent influence of humans.

We would like your ideas to add some specific details as part of the information gathering for the Parish Neighbourhood Plan - to add some "flesh to the bones" of the survey statistics.

In the recent Parish consultation the Countryside was rated as our most valued asset and 98% agreed with the proposed vision to protect and conserve it.

So what makes the countryside in and around West Hoathly Parish special for you?

Please be as specific as possible and try to limit yourself to your "top three" if possible.

NB West Hoathly Parish Council's decisions and other minutes of the Parish Council which are recorded in the Clerk's minutes of the statutory meetings of the Council are the complete and formal record. This article is intended to give an informal narrative for residents of what has been happening in your Parish Council.
