First Mid Sussex Parish Neighbourhood Plan Published in Slaugham

CLOSED Parish Council Chairman's Blog

Author: John Downe

Published: Friday, 11th January 2013

Slaugham Parish Council has just published their draft Neighbourhood Plan for local consultation. Slaugham is all within the AONB as we are, and comprises Handcross, Pease Pottage, Slaugham and Warninglid villages. In households / population it is about 50% larger than West Hoathly Parish. Theirs provides an interesting example of such a plan, although they will have different priorities and issues from ourselves of course.

In West Hoathly we hope to be ready to  consult on the Neighbourhood Plan starting in April 2013 but in the meantime the Slaugham plan illustrates some of the topics that will be included in ours.

If you have any comments on what Slaugham have done and the relevance to us here please Speak Out about it below

NB West Hoathly Parish Council's decisions and other minutes of the Parish Council which are recorded in the Clerk's minutes of the statutory meetings of the Council are the complete and formal record. This article is intended to give an informal narrative for residents of what has been happening in your Parish Council.
