North Lane recreation ground Children's Playground to receive £20,000 grant from the SITA Trust

West Hoathly Parish Council has been awarded a £20,000 grant to fund the major part of the planned major update of the children's playground which will include many exciting new play features for all ages. The Council's Youth Forum has played a key part in the project by researching the requirements, choosing the pieces of equipment and their layout and supporting the grant applications. This is a very worthwhile achievement by the Youth Forum, providing a modern and stimulating playground for the community's children and adding to the parish's attractiveness for young families.

Other grants are still being sought to add to the parish council's own playground fund and the SITA grant so that the whole project can be completed ready for use within the next year.

NB West Hoathly Parish Council's decisions and other minutes of the Parish Council which are recorded in the Clerk's minutes of the statutory meetings of the Council are the complete and formal record. This article is intended to give an informal narrative for residents of what has been happening in your Parish Council.
