The Hoathly Hub is the gateway to information about everything to do with living in the Parish of West Hoathly. It has developed rapidly over the last few months and continues to evolve. We love to hear from you, so please let us know what you think.
To access the current information, just click on any coloured circle (hot spot) to display an information panel, or click on a picture to visit another local website.
To stay informed you need to register with the Hub - we promise to take great care of your personal data. You will then be sent our weekly News Digest by email (unless you choose otherwise) and we will send an occasional email to let you know when urgent news has been added to the Hub (for example, unplanned road closures).
To be the first to know, you could also become a fan of
our Facebook page, subscribe to our RSS feed,
or follow us on Twitter!

• Name
• Phone number and/or email address
• Postcode

The house will get a free Energy Performance Certificate.

Your responses to the Draft Neighbourhood Plan more...
Comments on the draft Plan are uploaded to the website once a week, just before I send out the email Digest so please do not be concerned if you do not see your contribution for a few days.
Please note that forms which do not include a first name (or title) AND a surname cannot be accepted, and multiple responses completed by the same person for the same policy are combined into one.

'Our Plan' = everybody in West Hoathly Parish's Plan! more...
Two weeks to go of the draft Neighbourhood Plan consultation. If you have something to say make sure you do so by June 3rd. IF as a parish community we can agree a Plan it means that WE can determine development in the parish to meet OUR needs. WE can all benefit by supporting our local services and addressing the traffic issues of the de facto "East Grinstead bypass" (75% of the traffic).
This is a community plan, not the parish council's plan, so make sure you make it your own!

URGENT - Family needed to host 11 year old boy (9th June-7th July) more...
We are desperately looking for a new host family for one of our children whose current family have had to move house and unable to host any longer.
Please contact Katherine Nash on 01444 892149 if you think you can help or would like more information.
Nikita is a lovely, friendly, easy going boy who has already been to Sussex twice with FOCC. He has two years left on the programme so we are looking for a family to host for this year and, if possible, next year as well. The children attend a daily 9am-5pm activity programme during the week, so you would be responsible for him during evenings and at weekends. The children learn English at school, and travel with two interpreters and there is always a Russian speaker on call.
Friends of Chernobyl's Children Mid-Sussex is a small local charity based in Horsted Keynes, which brings a group of around 15 underprivileged children from the Mogilev region of Belarus to Sussex every year for a month-long stay.
